The Greater Manchester Environment Fund (GMEF) exists to bring great causes and great supporters together.
The fund is a partnership between The Wildlife Trust for Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, and The Greater Manchester Combined Authority It brings together communities and organisations that are keen to channel their resources into addressing environmental problems of every size across the city region.

The Greater Manchester Environment Fund is the UK’s first regional environmental impact fund benefitting the region socially, environmentally and financially. We are a central funding source for projects that work within strategic plans to help Greater Manchester realise its environmental ambitions in the long-term.
