Environment Agency and Partners’ Learning Live event for schools

The Environment Agency are hosting a ‘Learn Live’ session about improving our rivers, estuaries and coasts.  The online event is aimed at secondary schools Key Stage 3, but content may be also be suitable for Primary school Key Stage 2.

 

The interactive session, taking place on Wednesday 27 April 10am to 10.30am,  includes information on environment challenges, partnerships from source to sea, work taking place on natural solutions to our climate and biodiversity crisis, live expert panel, voting on river basin management plans and a schools consultation with all responses to be submitted by 29 April.

 

The broadcast includes a case study of the rain garden / Sustainable Urban Drainage Solutions project at Greater Manchester school, Moorlands Junior school, Sale, and includes an interview with former IGNITION GM Project Manager, Amanda Skeldon.
