The Laudato Si’ Environment and Learning Centre
The Laudato Si’ Environment and Learning centre in Wardley, supports the delivery of the wider diocesan environment strategy ‘hearing the cry responding with hope’. Working with schools, parishes, faith groups and community groups to inspire hope for the future, since January the centre has supported over 1300 people of all faiths and none.

Calculating the Carbon impact of Building Retrofit Works
Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) has joined forces with the University of Manchester to develop a carbon calculator for quantifying the carbon impact of building retrofit works, providing a better understanding of materials and solutions with the least carbon impact.

North Cestrian School – Environmental Champions
The pupil-led Eco Club at North Cestrian School in Trafford has helped to instil and develop a whole-school approach to environmental awareness. Showing a passion for the environment and a real can-do attitude, pupils have created a lush school garden, organise regular litter-picks in the local community and have introduced measures within school to reduce single-use plastic and increase recycling.

Cracking Good Food would like to invite community organisation leaders to a Kitchen Kit Redistribution event taking place on Wednesday 19th June. The event aims to redistribute pre-loved kitchen equipment, sourced from their ‘Kitchen Kit Call Out’ campaign.
